Janshidda Lower Secondary School
Bhaddaure, Kaski, Nepal
The school was built some 32 years ago with the help of local residents of the village. The school has classes from Nursery (pre-school in Nepal) to Year 8.
The amenity facilities at the school were destroyed overtime by rain, hail and storm damage. Students at the school are facing difficulties using the facilities and during the monsoon season, they are particularly dangerous to use.
The project will be built with the assistance from Trekking4Nepal, an initiative by Snowy Mountain’s boy James Tatham.
The project will directly benefit 60 school children and teachers alike.
