RFN is also looking for opportunities to create jobs with the added benefit to have a flow on effect on the economy in Western Nepal. Rather than going to big business to buy school bags for children attending local schools, RFN will be looking to work with the disabled in Pokhara who are already in the business of making bags.

Over the next six months, REACH for Nepal Foundation intends to place an order of about 500-1000 school bags, and look to distribute to some schools in Western Nepal and surrounding areas.

Some distribution of the bags will also occur when travelers are in Nepal from Australia on various Community Rebuild Projects in latter part of 2017 and beyond.
