Trek is led by RFN Co-founder, Lou Nulley

REACH for Nepal Foundation (RFN) offers an annual trip to Nepal to the public, led by RFN co-founder Lou Nulley, with a focus on trekking and a specific development project that often includes a humanitarian aid project.

 

Participants have the opportunity to assist in rebuilding schools, water tanks, and other infrastructure, and are encouraged to contribute in any way that aligns with the foundation's objectives.

Few details on the trip

Subject to availability and safety of international travel

14 Days starting first week of Nov 2025. â€‹

 

A detailed itinerary will be distributed to interested travellers.

The ground cost for the trip is AUD $3,200

 

We are asking travellers to make an allowance of AUD $2,000 for return airfares. Airfares will be booked and charged separately.

The trip includes a community rebuild component where the group will stay in the village and contribute to the build.

We ask each participant to make a tax-deductible donation of $500 (or more) through their own fundraising. This is desirable but not mandatory.

The Itinerary

Day 1-3

Arrive Kathmandu & Kathmandu Sightseeing

Day 10

Free Day in Pokhara

Day 4-5

Overland trip to Pokhara & warm up walk to World Peace Pagoda 

Day 11-13

Community Project and Village stay

Day 6-9

Trekking around the Annapurna Ranges, Maximum height 3,200m

Day 14-16

Fly to Kathmandu, Shopping and on the way back home
